The Abracadabra rose is a hybrid variety, meaning it results from a cross-pollination of two different species of roses; thanks to its beauty and sweet scent, is cultivated by collectors and for ornamental purposes. It is believed to be originating from Germany, and that it is a variety of the rose known as Houcus-pocus.
